In December 2015, Plasser Australia opened its new Repair and Overhaul workshop facility.
This building provides an additional 1,300 square meters of indoor workshop floor space as well as 1,150 square meters of covered outdoor workspace. The new Repair & Overhaul workshop is equipped with an environmentally friendly machine wash-down facility, two 50-tonne overhead cranes, up to date modern working environment and dual gauge track.
This provides added value in the form of increasing Plasser’s capacity and capabilities for rebuild and repair of our customers’ existing on-track machines and also new machine manufacturing.
Repair & Overhaul of Components
Plasser Australia has a dedicated fully equipped repair and overhaul department that provides specialised repair of components such as tamping units, axles, gear boxes etc. All repaired units are thoroughly inspected and tested prior to despatch to our customers.
All of the processes for repair and overhaul are carried out in compliance with PAS99:2012 and internal procedures which ensure the highest quality standards and compliance.
We have a commitment as a Performance Partner to our customers by providing maintenance and service to all of their machines.
Including onsite capabilities for the repair and adjustment of the Plasser &Theurer Win-ALC computers, circuit boards and measuring equipment to ensure your parts are back in service when you need them.
