The 08-16 SH is multi-purpose conventional levelling, lining and tamping machine capable of working on plain track as well as points and crossings.
The machine offers unique features that enable track lifting, lining and tamping in virtually all parts of switches, crossings and plain track. The workheads are arranged in pairs over each rail (i.e. a total of four (4) workheads), each of which is independently laterally traversable. The universal track lifting and lining mechanism is designed to lift both plain track and switches under the rail head or under the rail foot.
