The Plasser DTS 62 Dynamic Track Stabiliser is designed to apply controlled, accurate stabilising forces into the track structure at continuous speeds of up to 1.5 km/h.
All track is subject to settling due to traffic loads. This settling occurs irregularly and in an uncontrolled manner, resulting in track deterioration. Dynamic track stabilisation is a combination of horizontal vibration and a vertical load.
The stabilising unit is a well proven design developed in 1975 with more than 400 machines in regular use on various railroads worldwide since 1978.
