The FRM 802 is a High Production Ballast Shoulder Cleaning machine and can be especially designed to work on track with pre-dumped ballast at the shoulder area.
The ballast is excavated from the shoulders of the formation then conveyed to the cleaning screen. The screening unit processes no only the ballast size but also the reusable ballast is separated from any waste material. A system of conveyors transport the waste material to the end of the machine where it is discharged or stored accordingly and the reclaimed ballast is returned to the track.
